Job Title: Placement Executive
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic HR-Placement Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in coordinating placement activities for students, building and maintaining relationships with industry partners, and ensuring successful employment outcomes for graduates. This role requires excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Job Type: Contractual
Remuneration: As per the Industry Standard
Key Responsibilities:
• Exploring opportunities from industries for final placements of students considering the scope of the different courses.
• Generating leads from different sectors / Industry at domestic / international level to add to existing contact base and enhance relations with new organizations.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential recruiting partners and industry leaders, business vertical heads and key decision makers in companies to understand their talent needs and preferences.
• Ensure planning & smooth implementation of placement of students in organizations.
Facilitation for summer internships and industrial visits for the students, in consultation with course coordinators.
• Collaborate with the student placement committee to understand the batch job preferences. Initiate Industry tie-up (e.g. inviting guest faculty for specialized lectures) for students.
• Organize training & development programs for students.
• Organize seminars on emerging technologies, soft skills & career prospects.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in HR, recruitment, or placement activities, preferably in an educational setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Proactive and self-motivated with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with placement management software.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in a related field.
• Prior experience in a similar role within an educational institution.
• Knowledge of industry trends and employment practices.
