Soumendu Sarkar is an Assistant Professor at Department of Policy Studies. He teaches Microeconomics, Mathematical Methods and Growth Economics. His primary research interest is Mechanism Design and Strategic Social Choice. He is also interested in applications of game theory to resource allocation problems. His recent work on mechanism design for land assembly has been published in International Journal of Game Theory and Mathematical Social Sciences.
Soumendu holds a PhD in Quantitative Economics from the Indian Statistical Institute.
