Assistant Professor position at the Department of Policy & Management Studies



The Department of Policy and Management Studies invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor in the MA Sustainable Development Practice (SDP) programme.

Number of Post: One

Area/Position Descriptions

Candidates with a Ph.D. in Social work/ Rural Development/ Rural Management

- PRA and RRA exercise (Needs assessment, Impact assessment etc.)
- Integrated Impact assessment
- NGO management
- Project Design and Management
- Policy

Eligibility

Ph.D. with first class at the preceding degree or equivalent with an excellent academic record. Three years of research/teaching experience is desirable, excluding the experience gained while pursuing a Ph.D. A candidate with a proven track record of publications in reputed peer-reviewed journals would be preferred. Demonstrated success in teaching is desirable.

  • a) How your academic and research background maps with thematic areas and specific specializations stated in the advertisement
  • b) Your vision and focus of research.

  • d) Your career goal and how working with TERI SAS will help you achieve that career goal.
  • Two most important research publications aligned with thematic area and specific specialization stated in the advertisement
  • Two letters of recommendation
