The University invites applications from highly motivated and qualified candidates for the post of Assistant Professor / Associate Professor in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (AI). The selected candidate is expected to contribute towards inter-disciplinary teaching, research, curriculum development, and academic administration.
Number of Post: 1 (One) Regular
Eligibility Criteria for Assistant Professor:
i. A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed)
ii. National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET/SET or who are or have been awarded a Ph. D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission
Desirable Qualification for Assistant Professor:
• Ph.D. in Computer Science/Engineering/Technology or allied areas relevant to Data Science and Artificial Intelligence.
• M. Tech./M.Sc. in relevant discipline with strong background in programming, mathematics, statistics, and machine learning.
• Undergraduate degree in Mathematics is desirable.
Eligibility Criteria for Associate Professor:
i. Good academic record with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines.
ii. A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed).
iii. A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and/or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/industry with a minimum of seven publications in the peer reviewed/UGC listed journals.
iv. Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses, and technology – mediated teaching learning process.

• Mathematical and Statistical Modeling
• Python/R/Mathematica and any other relevant data science frameworks

Applications are invited for post of Project Technical Support III in ICMR Funded Project entitled: “Moonlighting nuclear function of glycolytic enzyme phosphoglycerate mutase enzyme 1 (PfPGM1) in human malaria parasite Plasmodium falciparum and its therapeutic potential.”
Position: Project Technical Support III (Contractual)

Duration: The selected candidates will be appointed purely on temporary basis, initially for one year, which may be extended based on the performance.
Qualifications & Experience:
Essential: Three years Graduate plus three years’ experience or PG degree in Life Science/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology/allied subject from a recognized university
Desirable: Candidate should have strong background in Computational Biology/Bioinformatics/docking studies using relevant software for drug screening as evidenced by research publication/an ongoing research project involving related techniques and studies.
The candidate is expected to
a) Provide help for expediting laboratory procedures as directed and documentation of standardized laboratory protocols apart from performing research work as guided by PI/co-PI
b) Maintain records of purchases, equipment servicing/repair and update accounts accordingly.
c) Assist in the preparation of utilization certificates.
Remuneration: Rs. 28000/- + HRA as applicable

Position Title: Research Assistant (Contractual)

Job description:
• Conducting background study, field work, assisting in preparation and finalization of questionnaire and sampling design.
• After the field work has been completed, research assistant will be responsible for analyzing the data and documentation of field insights.
• Assist in overall coordination and documentation of the research project.
Educational qualifications:
• Master’s in law/political science/economics/public policy/social sciences/Sociology etc.
Essential qualifications:
• Have knowledge about qualitative and quantitative methods and tools such as N Vivo, SPSS/STATA/R studio.
• Significant interest and knowledge in urban waste management.
• Analytical abilities and effective oral and written communication skills are necessary prerequisites.
• Ability to manage time effectively and to handle multiple requests at the same time.
• Ability to communicate and coordinate effectively as a team member.
• Should be proficient in both Hindi and English.
Remuneration: Rs. 20000/- p.m. INR (Consolidated).
