Various countries have accepted agroforestry as a productive tool to reduce the disastrous effects of globalwarming and to promote soil and land restoration. The study focuses on using a mixed methods approach to investigate the reasons, difficulties, and perspectives of Hisar farmers regarding agroforestry. The combination of qualitative interviews and quantitative surveys was essential to understand the current scenario. The paper includes demographic information, awareness, knowledge, attitudes, perceptions, and behavioral factors of Hisar farmers. The findings disclose that farmers are willing to adopt agroforestry, but they face obstacles like market uncertainties and knowledge gaps. The study involves the importance of market access, successful local agroforestry practices examples, and government support in encouraging agroforestry uptake. The research paper also concludes that the barriers that can help in the upliftment of the Hisar farmers for future generations will contribute to environmental sustainability and climate resilience.
