Addressing climate change is one of the most critical issues that is currently threatening not only the Human race but the existence of Planet Earth as we see it now. Even though climate experts are working hard to come up with solutions but the need of the hour is to address the issue and bring out collective climate action. As human behaviour is one of the most important and central aspects of climate change, therefore it is important to understand and analyze the behavioural responses towards this problem of climate crisis. This will help us to highlight the proper approach required to mitigate climate change. The experience that comes from individual and social learning are the indicators of one’s behaviour, as it indicates that when population engages in a particular behaviour than it increases the chances of that behaviour to get carried forward in the next generation and not only this but to understand those changes that get accumulated in human culture over many generations result in the cultural transmission of behaviours that no single individual can invent on their own. Therefore it becomes crucial to develop an approach or a model, that will help us to understand how individuals in behave and respond in a certain way and what can be the best-suited behaviour model that will help us to seek the solutions or challenges to overcome the behavioural issues that are presently acting as the barrier to climate change action.
