Abstract: My work in Institute for Competitive Exams revolved around two projects- The Marketing Strategy and Website Development. The Institute for Competitive Examinations was conceived over a long period by a group of senior Defense Service officers with a pan India experience and exposure, particularly to the insurgencies in the North East of India, the Kashmir Valley and the jungle clad hinterland of the Red Corridor. It is now founded as a semi commercial academic body to offer honest and realistic preparatory training for the entire range of examinations conducted by the UPSC, SSC, RRB, APPSC, TSPSC and their counterparts in the states of Jarkhand, Chattisgarh, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram and Nagaland, harnessing the vast pool of domain and subject specialists available in the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad. The objective is to free offer coaching to maximum number of deserving meritorious students, irrespective of their caste, creed, religion or gender, with resources generated by offering the same training to those that can afford to pay for it.
I designed the website through GoDaddy.com and created the content for the same. Under the marketing strategy I worked on both offline and online marketing plan. In on ground media marketing I gave inputs like career planning workshops in colleges, banners for the institute in relevant places, leaflet distribution.
For the digital media marketing I researched in social media marketing and gave my recommendations.
