VIRTUAL GAMES
It was a challenge to take up new initiatives during lockdown. To keep the audience and TERI SAS family engaged, we posted virtual games on the social media handles and also on mails. Viral games like Bingo and This or That were posted so that people could play and nominate their friends and have some fun in the tough times of pandemic. The games were based on Environmental Sustainability theme so that awareness could also be spread along with enjoyment!
QUIZZES AND CONTESTS
Regular Contests and Quizzes were conducted to keep the students of TERI SAS engaged. Also, the quizzes and contests helped the participants in enhancing their knowledge and the winners were also provided with the e-certificates.

FILM SCREENING
The Eco Club, in the month of July 2020 organized a film screening session in collaboration with the Hopping Sparrows Film Festival - Films for the Young & Hopeful based out of New Delhi, India. Hopping Sparrows as a traveling film festival provides students with exposure to a wide variety of subjects under sustainability dealt with in the films set in Indian and global context. As a visual and community interaction experience, the festival leaves students with a long-lasting memory of lessons that speak most to their quest. The theme of the Film Screening was "Green Gold on Fire". Jammu and Kashmir is the only state in India where forest fires are reported almost every season. Green Gold on Fire spoke about the impact of forest fires on the ecosystem, water crisis, soil fertility and livelihoods in the valley.
WEBINAR
A webinar was conducted on International Tiger Day 2020. Two speakers were invited to speak on two different topics related to the Tiger Population in India. The details of the speakers are as follows:
• Mr. Rushikesh Chavan - Senior Conservationist at Wildlife Conservation Trust.
He has been working since 20 years on bettering landscapes for tigers. He talked on: “Why tigers matter in 21st century?”
• Ms. Anwesha Dutta - Post-doctoral Researcher, Chr. Michelsen Institute.
She specialises in political ecology of conservation. She talked on: “Militarization of tiger conservation and tribal rights.”
