Programme Overview

Emerson Centre for Excellence on Sustainability Studies along with IIT, Kharagpur is launching the two phase certificate course on Life Cycle Assessment as a tool for Product Benchmarking. The first phase of the certificate course will be orientation course and second phase will be advance course. The courses will span from Wednesday to Friday in two weeks spanning over three days in each week.

Comparison of LCA with other Environmental Assessment Tools
Detailed ISO Methodology for a LCA Study – with examples
Attributional vs Consequential Approach in LCA, Allocation Methodologies
Sensitivity and Uncertainty Analysis in LCA
Examples and Case Studies of LCA application as a tool for Environmental Product Declaration (EPD)
