About Google Earth Sustainability Program for Teachers
TERI School of Advanced Studies (SAS), in its endeavor to promote education and action on sustainable development, is partnering with Google Earth to conduct Google Earth Sustainability Program for Teachers- an online tech-educational program for teachers. Google Earth Sustainability Program for Teachers is an online capacity-building program for educators and educational institutions to help them recognize and strengthen their own roles towards achieving sustainable development by empowering the educators with an understanding and ability to foster skills amongst their learners by integrating it with technology led tools.
Program Focus
The program would focus on mentoring school educators in transforming education for sustainable development by exploring Google Earth Tools in the classroom, to enable more connected, experiential, collaborative, and most importantly, more humane learning environments.
Program Levels
The program consists of three levels:Level 1: Capacity building
Level 2: Implementation
Level 3: Assessment
