About the Conference

The Department of Business and Sustainability, TERI School of Advanced Studies announces its first Doctoral Research Conference in Management which aims to bring together doctoral students affiliated to institutions across India and from international schools for an event of paper presentations, discussions with senior academics and researchers from industry, and publication-oriented development.

The Doctoral Conference invites full research papers from the Doctoral scholars in Management across all areas including Sustainability Management, Marketing, Production & Operations Management, Strategic Management & Entrepreneurship, Finance and Accounting /Economics, International Business, Organizational Behavior/HRM, Public Policy, Information Management & Analytics, Other Disciplinary and Interdisciplinary subjects.

The submissions are going to be reviewed by a Faculty Review Committee in multiple rounds, from which a group of papers are going to be finally selected for presentation and reviewed by the discussants. We aim to pick a minimum of one paper from each area, for final presentation. The conference will include plenary sessions with invited keynote speakers.

About Department of Business and Sustainability

The Department of Business & Sustainability is committed to the cause of continued research in sustainability for business. The department, naturally, is interdisciplinary in its approach. Its mission is to provide experience and research based education that would equip the students to implement an integrated approach to business sustainability, so that the world we share thrives with a greener agenda. The department offers two Masters programmes, MBA in Sustainability Management and MBA in Infrastructure Management. It also offers PhD programmes, both full-time and part-time, with the goal of capacity building in the area for the academic world and the industry.

Award:

Three Best Paper Award will be given for the three best papers among those selected for presentation, based on the decision of the Conference Chairs, Discussants and Faculty Review Committee.

• Paper Presentation (Indian Doctoral Students): Rs. 500
• Paper Presentation (International Doctoral Students): $ 30
